è ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT has been moved to Thursdays at 5:45 till Mass at 7:00.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM’S SAFETY TIP OF THE WEEK:  With the warm weather, comes an increase in thefts from vehicles and crimes against walkers/joggers.  Remember to always lock your car and take your keys with you.  Take your cellular phone, laptops, purses and book bags with you or lock them in your trunk out of sight.  Be sure all windows are closed; car thieves have tools to get into a vehicle through even a slightly opened window. Avoid walking alone at dusk or night unless absolutely necessary.

COFFEE TALK / MOVIES resumes next week between the morning Masses.  Coffee/hot beverages and carbs are available beforehand in the cry room after the 8:30 Mass, then the show begins sometime soon after 9:45.  Judy Muething has picked an interesting video about “Adult Baptism.” Then she will lead a relaxed yet inspiring review and discussion with all of us. How are we to be “priest, prophet, and king’ to those around us. Stay after the 8:30 Mass, come early before the11:00.  CFF parents will find this is the perfect way to use the time your children are in class. Everyone is welcome.

RCIA: Will be May 8, 2012 @ 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. We will be discussing: “Your Prayer Life & Discernment with Fr. Mike

LOOKING AHEAD…. And …LOOKING FORWARD TOO…OUR PARISH PICNICS!!! Be sure to mark your calendar and save the date for a fun time with your Parish Families.  St. Peter’s Parish Picnic will be: Sunday, June 24.

St. Mary’s Parish Picnic will be: September 8 or 9. (Date will be determined soon.) Lots of food, lots of fun, lots of games! (Flashback: Last year at St. Peter’s…there was a dressing war of the Genders.  Who takes longer to get dress? A woman or a man? Well, let’s just say the women won and someone, (I shouldn’t name, but what the heck…MARK!) needs to learn how or where a women’s undergarments are worn!) Will there be a rematch??? … St. Mary’s Pig Roast will be: August 4th.  **

**ST. PETER’S PICNIC PLANNING MEETING:  Anyone interested in helping to plan the parish picnic is welcome to attend a meeting on Tuesday Evening (and every Tuesday evening beginning this week, May 8).  We will meet at the Shelter Area (weather permitting) at 7:00pm.  Bring your suggestions, ideas, and party face and help plan a picnic fit and fun for all our families!  Contact Rich Adams @ 752-7563 if you are interested in helping but can’t make the meeting.  Be sure to put in a special prayer for good weather on June 24th!!!
